A Discovery Flight is an introductory flight with an instructor, designed to help you experience the aircraft, the training environment, and the first step into aviation.

Our Discovery Flight is $245 and is designed to give you a real introduction to flight training before committing to a larger plan.

Three ways. Every certificate and rating has a published package price with guaranteed flight and instruction hours — Private Pilot is $18,900. The V-Speed Academy bundles full programs with housing from $75,000. And you can still train by the hour: our aircraft rate is $185 per hour wet, and our instruction rate is $60 per hour.

Yes. Every certificate and rating has a published price with guaranteed hours — Private Pilot $18,900, Instrument Rating $15,800, Commercial Pilot $35,600, CFI $13,550, CFII $6,100 — and uniforms are included with each. Hourly, pay-as-you-go training is available too.

The V-Speed Academy is Volare’s full pilot training program. Three options — Zero to Commercial Pilot ($75,000), Private Pilot to Flight Instructor ($75,000), and Zero to Flight Instructor ($94,750) — include guaranteed flight hours, lessons with an instructor, a place to live, books, a uniform, a headset, and an iPad at one price.

Every package lists a set number of flight hours and instruction hours, and those hours are guaranteed. For all packages, guaranteed hours will not be lost if a student progresses quickly or overperforms.

Yes. Every option includes a place to live — your own bedroom with a shared bathroom and kitchen, Wi-Fi included — for 6 months on Zero to Commercial Pilot and Private Pilot to Flight Instructor, and 8 months on Zero to Flight Instructor.

Yes. The V-Speed Academy was built with transfer students in mind. If you already hold a private pilot license, the Private Pilot to Flight Instructor option picks up from there. Call (740) 278-3214 and we will look at where you are and map the rest of the ladder.
